The annulment of tenant protection laws for Jews enabled Aryan landlords to terminate apartment rental leases with Jews. The result was that Jews had to leave their apartments and move into houses owned by Jews. With the deterioration of their economic situation, many Jews were forced to rent rooms with Jewish families. This was the beginning of the concentration of Jews in special houses.
